There are weddings, and then there are events. The Tilling House Eatontown NJ wedding of Hannah and Jake was absolutely the latter. The neutral tones, lush white and green florals, and dramatic chuppah made this day unforgettable. In addition, a large and lively bridal party brought energy from start to finish. Overall, this wedding was everything I could have hoped to photograph.
So, if you’ve been dreaming about a black tie affair at this stunning Eatontown NJ venue — you’re in the right place. Let me walk you through every detail of Hannah and Jake’s day.
First, let me say this: The Tilling House makes a photographer’s job a joy. Located in Eatontown, NJ, the property offers classic architecture and manicured grounds. Furthermore, the expansive golf course backdrop is something you simply cannot find everywhere. Whether you’re posing in front of the building or walking the course at golden hour, the photo opportunities are endless.
In short, this venue has everything. There are dramatic indoor spaces, open-air ceremony areas, and beautiful natural light. Additionally, that lush New Jersey greenery makes every portrait feel effortlessly romantic. If you’re considering The Tilling House for your wedding day, I genuinely cannot recommend it enough.
First and foremost, the mood was established from the very first moments of the morning. The color palette — soft neutrals, creamy whites, and rich greens — informed every choice. It touched everything from the bridal party attire to the florals to the tablescape details. There’s something so timeless about a neutral palette done well. Hannah absolutely nailed it.
Her bridal details were dreamy. The florals were nothing short of breathtaking — white blooms and deep green foliage that felt both organic and sophisticated. Every arrangement was a work of art. Meanwhile, Jake and his groomsmen were sharp in their black tie attire — classic and perfectly suited for the evening ahead. Together, the entire wedding party brought an energy that felt both intimate and celebratory.
Portrait time is one of my favorite parts of any wedding day. It’s those quiet moments where the couple gets to simply be together. At The Tilling House, we took full advantage of everything the property offered.
To start, we photographed in front of the venue’s stunning building. The architecture provides a classic, elegant backdrop — the kind that feels timeless decades from now. Hannah in her gown with white and green florals against that facade? Perfection. Next, we moved out onto the golf course. The wide open fairways and soft natural light gave us a completely different aesthetic. Moreover, the lush green grass tied right into the floral theme Hannah had woven through the entire day.
Finally, we captured group portraits with the large bridal party. They were full of laughter, love, and personality. Hannah and Jake are clearly surrounded by incredible people — and it showed.
Without a doubt, the ceremony was the moment that stopped time. The couple exchanged vows beneath a breathtaking chuppah in the back of The Tilling House. It was nothing short of magnificent.
The chuppah was large and beautifully adorned. It perfectly complemented the white and green floral theme. Surrounded by their bridal party, Hannah and Jake’s ceremony felt both grand and deeply personal. Furthermore, the structure created a natural focal point that drew every eye to the couple.
A chuppah ceremony is incredibly meaningful. It represents shelter, home, and the sacred space two people create together. As a result, photographing Hannah and Jake beneath it — saying their vows in front of everyone they love — was a moment I’ll carry with me for a long time. Additionally, the back of The Tilling House provided a stunning canvas. Open sky, gorgeous greenery, and just enough architectural elegance made everything feel perfectly grounded.
Once the ceremony concluded, it was time to celebrate — and celebrate they did. The black tie dress code brought an elevated energy to the room. Guests leaned into the formality. As a result, the reception looked stunning in every single frame.
Meanwhile, the florals continued to shine. White blooms and green arrangements on the tables created a cohesive, sophisticated look. In addition, neutral linens, candlelight, and greenery made the space feel warm and romantic. The bridal party was a highlight of the evening. They showed up with their whole hearts — and it was evident in every toast, every dance, and every candid in between.
As a wedding photographer newly acquainted with The Tilling House Eatontown NJ wedding scene, I can say without hesitation: this venue belongs on every NJ couple’s radar. The building, the golf course, the ceremony space, and the reception areas together create an incredibly versatile backdrop. In other words, whatever your vision is, this venue can bring it to life.
Whether you’re planning a black tie affair like Hannah and Jake’s or something more intimate, The Tilling House delivers. And for a photographer, that kind of versatility is everything.
Above all, the florals, the venue, and the black tie elegance were simply a beautiful frame. The real story was Hannah and Jake’s love for one another. It was evident in the way Jake looked at Hannah as she walked toward him. It was in the laughter during portraits and the tears during vows. Ultimately, every image from their day at The Tilling House reflects a couple deeply in love, surrounded by the people who matter most.
