As your Park Chateau wedding photographer, I witness a lot of incredible days. But some weddings stop you in your tracks entirely. Tempest and Ben’s September celebration was one of those. I actually lowered my camera for a moment just to take it all in.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear this would be unforgettable. White florals covered every surface — cascading centerpieces, ceremony arches, floral-lined aisles. In short, it was a fairytale. If you’ve been dreaming of a wedding designed for the pages of Vogue, this is it.
First, let’s talk about the venue itself. Park Chateau has long been one of New Jersey’s most coveted wedding estates — and for good reason. The French château-inspired architecture is stunning. So are the manicured grounds and the grand ballroom. Together, they create a backdrop that is truly unmatched in the region. Still, Tempest and Ben didn’t just usePark Chateau as their backdrop. They transformed it.
White flowers were the defining thread of the entire day. Lush garden roses, trailing orchids, and airy pampas accents filled every corner. Moreover, towering floral installations turned an already-stunning venue into something otherworldly. The overall design was romantic, maximalist, and unabashedly luxurious. As a Park Chateau wedding photographer, I can say without hesitation: I have never seen this venue look more stunning.
Next, let’s talk about the bridal party — because it was a statement in itself. More than 40 attendants were dressed head-to-toe in black. The contrast was everything. Against the white florals and creamy stone walls, the sea of black created a visual drama that was editorial and deeply intentional.
Walking down the aisle with 40 people in sleek black? That is a moment. And photographically? Pure gold. As a result, every image had a cinematic quality — romantic yet bold, intimate yet grand.
Tempest was radiant in a way that is genuinely rare to witness. There’s a quiet confidence some brides carry. That was Tempest. She moved through the day with grace and joy. Furthermore, she brought a warmth that made every room feel brighter.
Her details were thoughtful and elevated. Photographing her felt effortless, because she simply was.
Now, let’s talk about the light. If you know me as a photographer, you know I live for golden hour. On this September evening, the universe delivered completely.
The late afternoon sun dipped low and ignited the Park Chateau grounds. Warm, amber light wrapped around the couple. It also lit the white florals from behind, turning every frame into something painted. That kind of light is rare. When it appears, you run outside and shoot.
Additionally, September at Park Chateau is a secret weapon for couples who want glowing imagery. The late summer sun, the warm air, the way light plays off the stone architecture — there is truly nothing like it.
If you’re considering Park Chateau, here are the reasons I love photographing there:
The architecture is endlessly photogenic. The stone façade, arched windows, and grand staircase give you stunning backdrops at every turn. No two weddings ever look the same here.
The light is incredible. Particularly during golden hour, the grounds catch light in a way that makes my job feel like pure joy. The open sky and manicured lawns all come together beautifully.
The scale is unmatched. For example, Tempest and Ben’s 40+ person bridal party filled the space perfectly. It never felt cramped — only full of life.
The florals have room to breathe. For couples who want that maximalist floral look, Park Chateau provides the ceiling heights and grandeur to let it shine.
I photograph weddings at Park Chateau regularly. Without exception, I leave in awe every time. So if you’re searching for a Park Chateau wedding photographer who knows this venue intimately — the best light, the hidden corners, the perfect sunset timing — I’d love to connect.
Ultimately, Tempest and Ben’s wedding shows what happens when a stunning venue meets a couple with an extraordinary vision. The white florals. The 40 attendants in black. The golden September light. It was a day I will carry with me for a long time.
