If there’s one word to describe Shannon and Faraz’s Bonnet Island Estate Wedding, it’s joy. From the second guests crossed the bridge onto the estate that sunny July afternoon, it felt like summer magic was officially in session.
Set right on the water, their Bonnet Island Estate Wedding embraced all the coastal vibes — dusty blue bridesmaid dresses, soft ivory florals, and breezy details that perfectly matched the bay backdrop. Everything felt light, relaxed, and effortlessly elegant (without ever being too formal). Just the way they wanted it.
One of the sweetest parts of the day? Shannon surprised everyone by incorporating her dad’s classic red Corvette into their portraits. Parked outside the chapel with the water behind it, the vintage car added the boldest pop of color against their coastal-inspired palette. The photos were iconic — timeless, personal, and a little bit rock-and-roll in the best way.
Cocktail hour brought even more personality. Shannon and Faraz both attended Villanova, so they made sure to give their alma mater a proper shoutout. A custom Villanova ice sculpture quickly became the centerpiece of the bar, but the real surprise came when a flyover banner cruised across the sky congratulating the newlyweds. Guests were pointing, cheering, and scrambling for their phones — it was such a fun, unexpected moment that made their Bonnet Island Estate Wedding feel completely their own.
As the sun dipped lower over the bay, golden light poured into the reception space and the dance floor filled fast. There were emotional toasts, nonstop laughter, and the kind of energy that only happens when two people are clearly marrying their best friend.
